How to maintain the gear reducer
Source:本站 Author:常州方友机电有限公司 Release time:2021-10-21 17:08:16 Page view:2388As a commonly used mechanical accessory, gear reducers will always cause wear and tear after prolonged use. In order to reduce this situation, we need to regularly maintain the gear reducers. So, how should we operate them? Below, we will introduce how to maintain gear reducers from five aspects.
1、 Remove thoroughly before use. 2. The operating temperature of the gear reducer is 0-40 ℃. 3. Check whether the fit size of the hole (or shaft) connected to the reducer meets the requirements, and the tolerance of the hole should be H7 (the tolerance of the shaft is H6). 4. Before use, the blockage at the high position should be replaced with an exhaust plug to ensure that gas is discharged from the body during the operation of the reducer.
2、 Installation of gear reducer: 1. The reducer can only be installed on a flat, shock-absorbing, and torsion resistant support structure. 2. Under no circumstances is it allowed to use a hammer to drive the pulley, coupling, pinion, or sprocket onto the output shaft, as this will damage the bearings and shaft.
3、 Usage and maintenance: 1. After installing the gear reducer, check for flexibility. Please conduct a no-load test for official use, and gradually load and operate under normal operation. 2. The use of gear reducers exceeding the rated load is strictly prohibited. 3. The gear reducer should be checked for normal oil level before use and during operation.
4、 Oil change system: Start changing the oil. After running the gear reducer for 300-400 hours, the lubricating oil should be replaced, and thereafter every 1500-2000 hours. In harsh working environments, high temperatures, and dusty workplaces, the lubricating oil should be inspected every half month. If any dirt is found, the lubricating oil should be replaced to maintain cleanliness, extend the service life of the gearbox, and improve economic efficiency.
5、 Oil replacement: When changing the oil, it is necessary to wait for the gear reducer to cool down without burning danger, but it should still be kept warm because the viscosity of the oil increases after cooling, making it difficult to drain the oil.
I hope that in the future, users can refer to the content introduced in our article when maintaining gear reducers. This can extend the service life of the gear reducer. Of course, if the quality of the gear reducer itself is good, the service life of the gear reducer is relatively long. Therefore, it is recommended that users also purchase good products when purchasing gear reducers.
